Community Group Questions

  1. Read Colossians 3:1-17 together. Pick a few verses where Paul points to the connection of the believers identity to Christ? What does he say is that identity?
  2. In Colossians 3:5-17 Paul speaks about putting off sin and putting on Christ. How do we do this and what role does the church play in it?
  3. Paul Tripp defines a disciple in this way: “For him, (a disciple) being part of the body of Christ is an identity that doesn’t just define a set of gatherings he attends but redefines everything in his life. Everything about him - his relationships, his work, his time, his money - is being transformed because he is part of the transformational community of disciples called “the church.” How have you seen this transformation take place in your life and where are you praying God will produce fruit?
